Curator’s Note

My name is Capres, and I’m a postgraduate researcher working at the intersection of human rights education, critical theory, and the arts.

I created Humanoid Archives as part of a wider inquiry into how individuals engage with global injustices when introduced to them through art. My aim is to explore how curation can become a form of pedagogy, activism, and collective care.

This project draws from academic research, but it’s also deeply personal. I believe in the power of creativity to challenge dominant narratives and hold space for stories that systems try to erase.

Thank you for being here and for taking the time to engage with these stories.
